The thicker the thickness, the higher working pressure it can withstand.。Below is standard installation instruction for double ferrule fitting:Insert the tubing the fitting until it bottoms the fitting shoulder and hand-tighten the nut。The nut need to be tighten until the tubing does not move axially nor turn by hand。Mark the nut at 12 o'clock position and wrench-tighten the nut 1 1/4 turn to the 3 o'clock position while holding the fitting body with a second wrench.。For fittings size that smaller than 1/4"OD or 6MM OD, the nut need to be tighten 3/4" turn to 9 o'clock position.。 。 。 。
